Fountain of Life

Revelation 21:6  And he said unto me, It is done.  I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end.  I will give unto him that is athirst of the fountain of the water of life freely.

Psalm 36:7-9  How excellent is thy loving kindness, O God!  therefore the children of men put their trust under the shadow of thy wings.  8) They shall be abundantly satisfied with the fatness of thy house; and thou shall make them drink of the river of thy pleasures.  9) For with thee is the fountain of life: in thy light shall we see light.

Proverbs 13:14  The law of the wise is a fountain of life, to depart from the snares of death.  Proverbs 14:27  The fear of the Lord is a fountain of life, to depart from the snares of death.

There is a song I love from church – “There’s A Fountain Free”  The first verse and the chorus are so inspiring.

“There’s a fountain free, ’tis for you and me, Let us haste, O haste to the brink; “Tis a fount of love from the Source above, And He bids us all freely drink.

Chorus: Will you come to the fountain free?  Will you come? ’tis for you and me; Thirsty soul hear the welcome call; ‘Tis a fountain open for all.”

these fountain photos made me think of the hymn “There Is a Fountain” There is a fountain filled with blood drawn from Emmanuel’s veins, and sinners plunged beneath that flood lose all their guilty stains..” This hymn was written by William Cowper many years ago.

      1. Was it just today? Because I had a message from my host saying the server was down for a couple hours. If not, it could be that my old address is still in your wordpress reader. Try taking deleting it and re-following. Thank you so much for letting me know, I will look into it further and see if I can get to the bottom on it all. ❤
